If you're feeling isolated, you're not alone. Research shows that strong friendships are key to better health and a longer life.

Yet with more and more of our work and social interactions being online, our opportunities to connect with each other and build friendships have been declining. This situation can lead to loneliness, and even mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.

Exacerbating this situation, more than 22 million or 14% of the U.S. workforce work at home, according to the Pew Research Center. If you include hybrid work, it is one-third of the entire workforces works at home some time.

What if there was a way to turn that around?

Rotary isn't just a way to give service to the community. It's also a place for friendship. Building connections between people is at the heart of everything we do. When we come together, we don't just do good for others, we do good for ourselves, too.

There are many Rotary Clubs throughout the Greater Philadelphia area where new friendships await you. We welcome new members of all backgrounds and walks of life. Wherever you live or work, there's a club near you.. Find yours at rotaryphl.org/find-your-club
